GE Settles with Our Insurance Company
It took about a year but there was a settlement between GE and our insurance company. The impact to us is that we got a check for our deductible and the fire does not count as a claim...Seems like GE is admitting there was a problem with our Microwave or they would not have settled.

our Ge profile caught fire on Dec 24, 2010. It ruined our Christmas EVe, kids week of school vacation, Newyears eve and New years. Ge had us call their insurance electric inurance, then we got a phone call from their attorney asking about monetary damages, we had no clue. Then Chubb called saying they represented Samsung who actually mfg the microwave fore GE. We have been fighting with Chubb to cover the expences we laid out and unresotrable items that need to be replaced. Any attorneys out there reading this?
